Ass. prof. Naida Sulejmanagic

Naida Sulejmanagic Hadziabdic (DDS, MS, PhD) graduated from the Faculty of the Dental Medicine University of Sarajevo Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2001. The same year she started working as Teaching Assistant at the Department of Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology/Faculty of Dental Medicine University of Sarajevo. In 2005. she finalized her postgraduate studies by defending the Master thesis entitled: Influence of the Oral Anticoagulants on Oral Surgical Procedures. The same year she became an oral surgery specialist. In 2013. she defended her doctoral thesis entitled: Expression and clinical importance of MMP-1 and MMP-2 and Their Tissue Inhibitors TIMP-1 and TIMP-2 in Periapical Inflammatory lesions. In 2015. she became an Assistant Professor and in 2019. Associate professor in the field of Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology. At the Faculty of Dental Medicine Prof Naida Sulejmanagic Hadziabdic is teaching  Oral Surgery, Dental implantology, Dental Emergencies, and Dental Treatment of Patients with Special Needs. From 2016. Prof  Naida Sulejmanagic Hadziabdic is Head of the Department of Oral Surgery Clinic. Apart from working full time as Associate Professor at the University Naida is working part-time in the Private Dental Practice “Sulejmanagic” together with her parents and brother. Until now she has published 23 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 36 conference proceedings, and two book chapters entitled: Oral Pathology: Gene Expression in Odontogenic Cysts within the book Gene Expression and Control (published 2019.) and The Basics of Splinting in Dentoalveolar Traumatology within the book Maxillofacial Surgery and Craniofacial Deformity- Practices and Updates (published 2020.)
